Physician: A New York Facility is Looking for a Temporary Urgent Care Physician

A New York-based facility is currently seeking an urgent care physician to assist with locum tenens coverage. The clinic is open Monday ? Friday from 9 am ? 9 pm and Saturday ? Sunday from 9 am ? 6 pm, and you will see 40 patients per day on average. The covering physician must be board certified or board eligible and have current ACLS and BLS certification. The assignment requirements include standard urgent care procedures. You will need to have an active NY state license for this position. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
