Entry Level - Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper

A Queens based Real Estate Management firm is currently seeking an Entry Level Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper.? The candidate will effectively manage all administrative communication and organizational tasks while providing high level client service.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):





  • Communicate with residents


  • Handle maintenance calls


  • Prepare building questionnaires


  • Update new owner files


  • Filing ??






  • 1+ year in real estate industry, or in a related environment.?


  • Customer Service oriented, able to handle heavy phone volume


  • Good work ethic


  • Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills with great attention to detail and follow-up


  • Knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping


  • Ability to prioritize and process work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment


  • Able to take direction and multi task


  • Work independently and as a Team Player


  • Good Office Skills; Proficient in MS Word and Excel


  • Create various reports, spreadsheets and memos

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
