Administrative Assistant

A Queens based Real Estate Management firm is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant, in our College Point Office.? The candidate MUST have 5+ years solid experience in Residential Property Management.?The candidate will effectively manage all administrative communication and organizational tasks while providing high level client service.?


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Property Management:

  • Maintaining current knowledge of buildings property

  • Prepare and distribute memos, notices, and other correspondence to residents

  • Communicate with residents

  • Prepare Board Agendas

  • Receive, process and oversee all apartment alteration requests

  • Handle maintenance calls

  • Handle Work Orders ?

  • Filing ??

  • Reconcile, maintain and update building amenities (parking, storage, etc.)?

  • Coordinate all property inspections

  • Assist with contractor selection process


  • MUST HAVE 5+ year?s solid experience in Residential Property Management.?

  • Customer Service oriented, able to handle heavy phone volume

  • Good work ethic

  • MUST HAVE PROFICIENT computer skills (windows 7 or higher), Property Management (BJM or Yardi), Microsoft Office and Outlook

  • Create various management reports, spreadsheets and memos

  • Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills with great attention to detail and follow-up

  • Knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • Ability to prioritize and process work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment

  • Able to take direction and multi task

  • Work independently and as a Team Player

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
