The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and responsible for entering and updating data into our customer database systems.
The Data Entry Clerk will work closely with Marketing and Customer Service team to ensure accurate and timely data entry Responsibilities Type in data provided directly from customers Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost Enter, update and upload data into company databases and systems Verify accuracy of data entered and make necessary corrections Organize and maintain files and records Assist with data clean-up, de-duplication and data validation projects Manage our Do Not Mail and No Longer There files and proactively seek updates.
Generate reports and provide data analysis as needed Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity and consistency Perform other administrative tasks as needed Requirements and skills Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.
) CRM and / or ERP experience.
Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices Basic understanding of databases Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills Great attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and data entry software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of data management and data analysis is a plus Job Type:
