(Welsbach) is one of the largest commercial electrical contractors in New York City.
We specialize in outdoor electrical construction and maintenance for government agencies, utilities, television and film productions and private enterprises.
Our headquarters are located in Queens, NY, where we maintain an extensive in-house inventory of materials, tools, and a fleet in order to provide prompt electrical maintenance services.
Our field force consists of highly qualified, IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) journeymen electricians and linemen.
These employees are supported by experienced project management, estimating, engineering, accounting, and administrative personnel, who together make us one of the leading New York City electrical contracting companies.
SUMMARY The Data Entry Clerk should be able to enter a high volume of data entry quickly and accurately on a daily basis to meet deadlines.
This role will vary and adapt to the applicable division and project as needed.
The ideal candidate must operate data entry devices and duties may include verifying data and preparing materials for printing.
This is currently a part-time position requiring approximately 24 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding into a full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Locate and correct data entry errors and/or report them to supervisors.
Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
Store completed documents in appropriate locations.
Select materials needed to complete work assignments.
Consistently update and review spreadsheets and databases.
Maintain and continually improve filing system of all records.
Perform clerical functions as needed, including but not limited to copying, filing, scanning,etc.
Maintain confidentiality of any company sensitive information.

2015 operations work instructions, contracts, safety program, and Company established policies and procedures.
Escalate critical and/or sensitive issues to Project Manager with recommendation for resolution.
Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by Division Managers.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
